Health Canada Funding Opportunity: Removing Barriers to Equity
Overview
Through this Call for Concepts, the Labour Program is launching the second round of the Workplace Opportunities: Removing Barriers to Equity (Workplace Opportunities) grant and contribution program. Workplace Opportunities is designed to support employers subject to the Employment Equity Act (the Act) in their efforts to improve designated group representation in areas of low representation through partnerships and industry-tailored strategies.
Through a competitive process, Workplace Opportunities will provide funding to eligible recipients to develop tailored solutions to support the four designated groups under the Employment Equity Act (women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities). For this Call for Concepts, preference will be given to projects with a focus on Aboriginal peoples or persons with disabilities.
