Abstract
Objective: This study explored the effect of clinical educators as facilitators of research use and how it may be modified by organisational context in the settings.
Design: Cross-sectional observational study.
Setting: A representative sample of 91 residential long-term care (LTC) facilities across Western Canada.
Participants: We used surveys to collect data from the frontline care aides and information about the organisational context of the care units.

As part of our TREC Measurement System (TMS) project we feed back our research findings to our participants after each wave of data collection. We fed back results in May and June by organizing feedback summits and invited participants to attend. As TMS wraps up for the season, our SCOPE project is rolling out. SCOPE also organized meetings for participants to introduce them to the study and outline how they will participate.

Job satisfaction is a predictor of intention to stay and turnover among allied healthcare providers.
